Rambunctious

Layth had a slow start but he has suddenly transformed into this very very very becok little man.

Even though I don't really want him to be a doctor, he shows a lot of interest in it. Maybe because we are doctors so he hears a lot of medical stuff.

When pretend playing doctors-patients, he does it really well! Haha. Good training.

Usually start with:
Layth: Ummi sakit. Sakit apa?
Ummi: Sakit perut.
Layth: Okay Ummi lie down. Layf listen with telescope. (LOL!)

Then he takes the stethoscope and inserts it in his ears and listens to my stomach intently. Muka concentrate habis lah.

Layth: Layth listen to Ummi heart. Dup dup.
Then he percusses my stomach (please google "percussion medical"). Cewah...teknik yang betul!

He also likes to peruse anatomy/pathology books; especially illustrated ones. He looks at the pictures and "describes" them. He just takes them from the side of the bed.

Layth: "Eee orang ni sakit kaki. Gross. What is this?"
Ummi: Fungal infection.
Layth: Funger infeshen. This one?
Ummi: Contact dermatitis.
Layth: dermatish. Eeeee gross...orang ni sakit bontot.
Ummi: Err okaylah Layth tutup buku tuh. We can read another book.

He also likes to ask a loooot of questions.

Layth: Baba mana?
Ummi: Keje kat hospital.
Layth: Keje apa?
Ummi: Jadi doctor la.
Layth: Doctor buat apa?
Ummi: Tolong orang sakit.
Layth: Orang sakit apa?
Ummi: Sakit jantung, patah kaki, sakit kulit, sakit dada...
Layth: Oooooh. Nape patah kaki?
