Went to Aseeyah Mohammad Faiz's aqiqah in Clayton. Makan sedap... weird looking rice though - all colourful. But nice anyhow. Tak ingat apa namanya. It had "hujan" in the name.
Met lots of strangers.. gee more strange faces every social event. I wasn't keen on socialising. If you go to a kenduri in Malaysia, do you make new acquaintances with the other guests there? Not really kan. Jumpa host, talk to the people you know, makan and blah la kan. Ate with Layth then brought him to the nearby playground.
Lots of juniors though. They're probably the 2nd last batch that I actually know. Setiap kali salam people kept asking me "Tak kerja ke hari ni?". I patiently answered "No" until one of them came up with a brilliant answer for me. She said "Kalau akak kerja, takkan ada kat sini kan?". I said "Tu la..thank you!". Hahaha! We Malays need better cliches to come up with when meeting each other.
Then we went grocery shopping in Dandenong. Singgah kat Dandenong mosque to pray Zuhr. Dandenong mosque ni under construction. So Layth had one dream come true, got to take photo with and of a bulldozer! Siap panjat wheels lagi. Haha. Pas tu tak nak balik kehkeh. Kene janji pergi beach baru nak balik.Went home to change into slippers and get Layth's bucket and spade. Then we went to Frankston beach. It was freeeeezing okay. We played with the sand, built sandcastles, dug holes in the sand. Hubby and Layth ran and splashed in the water. Adoi..tak sejuk keeee korang nih!! Found a starfish with 8 tentacles. Pelik!
We bought a new wireless multifunction printer (print-scan-copy)..tengah sale kat Officeworks. Try la install malam tadi. Frust betul la. Only the scanner works. Not the printer huhu. Something wrong with the ink cartridges. Boring!! Baru je ingat nak print photo (printer ni bleh print photos straight from memory card jugak).
But from that, Layth now knows what a USB wire, ink cartridge, printer, scanner, plug is. Dia sibuk nak "tolong" malam tadi. Hehehe.
Okay next Saturday nak buat apa plak? Hari ni hubby kerja 0700-2100. Duk rumah dengan Layth aje nih. Malas plak nak keluar.

just need to change the tone... so instead of, "tak keje ke hari ni???..." becomes.. "oh, tak keje ek hari ni.."
yeah but still that is stating the obvious.
like saying "oh, pakai baju ek hari ni" when you can clearly see that i am wearing clothes.
maybe bleh kata "yeay, akak tak kerja hari ni..bestnya!"
hey haziq pun masa kecik minat bulldozer and the likes. Hmm tapi it tak dapat ambik gambarlah pulak (sebab masa tu tak ada digital camera nor hp with camera.

Or lama ke cuti? Sekali-sekala cuti, kemas la rumah ek? betul ke dah kemas? ada org tak kesah pun. Biaq pi la berlapuk pun, bukan ada org nak tengok. Ni hah ada sabun baguih. Leave on 1 night besok kilat berseri. Sekarang tengah promotion, buy 1 get 2 free.

lollies- hehe with the advent of hp cameras, bnyk gambar candid bleh amik sekarang kan. rather than tunggu formal outing bawak camera..bleh capture just ordinary moments like this.
hmm bkn nasi mandi..... nasi hujan something...xingat namanya.
k nina- lerr saya kan ada helper. dia tolong buat laundry dari membasuh ke melipat dan seterika. sumtimes kalau dia rajin dia cuci toilet. wpun dia tak selalu vacuum lantai tapi dia selalu mengemas mainan2 layth yg bersepah itu heheh
tak kuasa nak spend waktu cuti mengemas!! baik spend nak masak ker...hihihi

Yeah, i meant... to reduce the "sound" of stupidity since they want to state the obvious.
but that still doesn't completely remove the "duhhh" moment.
