We went to the Toy Library today and signed up for membership.
Thousands of toys up for loan!!! This is just one aisle. There are 4 more aisles. Not to mention those toys in storage that you have to refer to the catalogue to borrow!
Look, even Layth seems to be "rambang mata"!!

i haven't bought toys for a long time. sebab toys here are too expensive. the girls toys here pulak asik pasal mekap aje. buhsan. it is also amazing that the toys are returned well. sungguh berdisiplin negara mat salleh ni.

How does it work? Memang macam pinjam buku dari library kah? Do they require you to disinfect the toys when you send them back? (tanya macam lah boleh nak pinjam dari sini, or ada orang pun nak pinjamkan kepada).
lollies- itu la. i've very impressed that this sort of system can survive. people must be civic minded indeed! ni orang kapir nih.
OO- hmm sedihnya masyarakat kita camtu...
rotidua- Alhamdulillah. rezeki utk parentsnya jugak - tak yah kuar duit nak beli toys ehehe
nMJ- tu la kan hihi. me pun jeles. we didnt have many toys as kids. books aje la sbb library kan free.
it costs $70 a year (less than $10 a month!) and 3.5 hours volunteer service. bleh pinjam 7 units of toys at once for maximum 28 days. they even have tricycles, backyard monkey bars and kidsize kitchen, washing machines and other household "appliances".
