Good and better

What Layth can do now:
1. Get onto the toilet by himself without any steps
2. Brush his teeth including washing out his mouth with water
3. Open the tap and wash his hands with soap
4. Operate the DVD player (techie kids these days...hehehe)
5. Use an iPod touch
6. Tidy up his toys and put the boxes/containers where they belong
7. Switch the air-cond on and off
8. Remind us to water the plants (gi siwam pokoq!)
9. Wear his shoes and take them off by himself (though a bit slow and pretending to be helpless so we do it for him!)
10. He can perform all praying gestures and his "Allahu akbar" is sounding clearer now. He likes to be the 'imam'.
11. He can sort of recite 1st verse of surah Al-Ikhlas ( in his own way- it sounds hilarious)
12. He says please and thank you/thanks very well and all the time
13. He can count up and down 1-12
14. He is dry day and night

What requires a bit of improvement:
1. He has to let us know that he wants to pee/poo before actually going to the toilet. So he'll come and look for us to tell us "Nak kinchin" and we have to tell "Ha pergi la toilet". Dunno why??
2. He's not eating that well. Very picky. Not eating rice. He only eats pasta, fish fingers or crackers with hummus dip. But we don't eat pasta all the time. I don't want to cook it just because it's the only thing he will eat. Nanti ngade2 plak. Makan je apa yang disediakan, that's my motto.
3. He doesn't concentrate on activities for very long. Easily distracted.
4. He can sleep in his own bed but doesn't stay there! Hehe
