It's the 3rd time in my life that I've been left high and dry.
I suppose when it's happened 3 times, then it must be my fault then.
First time was in college; my college was too far and too rigid so I could not attend any programs.
Second time was in Uni 1st year; when I was kicked out of the "jama'ah".
Third time is now; when 4 months have passed and no one has even contacted me about anything that is happening, nor for any usrah or programs or whatever. Not even a cordial How are you doing.
Maybe 3 times is the limit? I have had enough.
I know when I am unwanted. I should just stick with the group who actually want me and care about me.

you still have student guild, right?
but i guess the warmth of ukhuwwah sitting and chatting and discussing and eating together is what we miss more.
i feel for you.
yes i do. that's why i am not too concerned.
i miss our halaqah; not the one we had towards the end and later by myself aje!
keciiiiiiik hatiku. tak tau nak describe. i accept they don't like me. must be too annoying for them. banyak demand, and high expectations.
they can't say "kalau bnyk sgt komplen buatlah sendiri!" coz they never gave me any change to "buat sendiri". this is the most inefficient movement i've ever come across. but too proud utk mintak tolong padahal aku dah offer nak tolong. tak nak sudah.
nak wat cenne. tak semua org buat usrah faham rukun usrah.
jgn kecik hati lagi la k.. byk lagi benda berpekdah lain ko boleh buat. i'm also through offering help excessively, especially when i know it's not wanted in the first place.
i miss our halaqah too.
sedihnya :(
ayah always stresses on the fact that there are two types of ppl; conformists and non conformists. Both types have their own unique strengths, and he is blessed with having all 5 children as non conformists.
Lets face it, that us. We're not the skema type who just follow without thinking. We think outside the box when it comes to things, and that is a great thing. We do something bcoz be understand and believe it, not bcoz just to follow the norm.
Ppl like 'this', you know who I mean, they just cant face the fact that there are different types of ppl, and they dont know how to handle them. So thats their problem, not yours. These ppl have the mind set that if someone does not conform, they are different thus hard to handle and are a nuisance. Wheres Allah created us all with our uniqueness.
Just let them be, they dont deserve ur talent and knowledge. Its their loss, not yours. Lagipun, that's just about 0.0000000000000000000001% (or much more) of the whole jamaah.
The makcik2 in JB are SOOOO not like that. They'll welcome you with open arms. THAT is the difference of tarbiyyah ppl get.
Org yg treat awk mcm tu, sadly they have no talent in handling ppl and the community. Its a sad day when ppl who look for Islam, look for ways to contribute to the development of Islam, but are not entertained.
Just make ur own new halaqah. Spread knowledge and dakwah to those who want it. Make new friends and new '2nd family'.
Wallahu'alam
intan- yes, why offer help when it's not wanted. nak offer bnyk kali buang karan sendiri aje. apa org kata..pipi tersorong2?
k aini- yes, my story very long and sedih
amirah- sigh. yes tapi mak will surely be sad about this. but she can't blame me now for not trying. tak berkesan langsung mak giving them a talking-to hari tu.
lagi satu..not that easy to start a new halaqah. all my friends dah balik or tinggal jauh2. i dunno any new people.
and i'm tired.
and i'm tired of being the presenter, the planner, the organiser. i want to be presented to for once.
as for "ukhuwwah", which is non existent. no doubt some of it is my fault sbb selalu tak dpt hadir program dulu (which they always told me last minute anyway)
anyways currently i'm looking around for any local sisters' halaqah. as of next week, it will be a YEAR since the movement was officiated to start in melbourne. a YEAR. and i'm still not involved. i'm pretty sure that's enough time to wait around, isn't it??
For now I am severing all ties with any of these "wadah".
i dun think i cud ever find halaqah like ours. those long 6 years are blessings in disguise. sadly, people do move on and move around.
i can understand ur tiredness. it's like being tired of having to care for others. it would be nice to be taken care of, for a change.
i'm so sad i can't go to the conference this weekend. ;(
btw, it's 'hidung tak mancung, pipi tersorong2'. err.. honestly i can't see the connection to its meaning.. ahaha!
Intan; hihi well which peribahasa is apt then? When one side aje yg lebih beriya?
Penat tu bkn fiZikal. I guess u know what i mean. You can only give so much.
Heh i pun takleh gi conference tu
btul la guna that pepatah. i just dont get how the hidung and pipi hv anything to do with being beriya sorg2.. ahaha! i guess that's the thing about peribahasa.
wahyu said she's gonna be around.. ada plan nak jumpa dia ke?
