Serabut

My head is choc-a-bloc full of things that I can barely manage a smile.
-------

Anyways, the babysitter problem is solved (for now). Hubby's friend has agreed to look after Layth for a salary. He's a medical student on holidays before graduation at the moment. It won't be that much work; just awkward times.
For example, I'm working from 1pm to 9pm and hubby working from 4pm to 12am. See the predicament? We really only need someone to look after Layth from 4pm to 9pm. Then the next day/week it will be different. What a nightmare.

The sad thing is that while in Warragul we had at least 3 weekends when the both of us did not work. For this rotation we have no weekends at all. Either one of us would be working or both of us.
---------

Will be applying for permanent residency as soon as internship finishes. There is a reason they made the whole process very convoluted and costly, I'm sure.

--------

All interns get 3 weeks of paid holidays after internship. In addition to that everyone gets 2 weeks of annual leave which is arranged to be at any time of the year.

My annual leave is the last 2 weeks of the year, so it goes directly before the 3 week holiday. Total holidays= 5 consecutive weeks. :D

Trying to organise my annual leave and working out shifts that can be swapped so I can go back to Malaysia earlier.

For example, I'm supposed to start my holiday on 3rd Jan 2011 but if I swap and work on the Christmas weekend instead, I may be able to go back 27th Dec instead.

And need to meticulously plan all our movements in Malaysia to accommodate everyone's expectations and tak kecikkan hati sape-sape and book flight tickets early to avoid inflated costs.
The challenge is that hubby's annual leave is not the same as mine. He is on holiday for 2 weeks, then has to work for 2 weeks then starts the 3 week holiday.

1. divide for both families sama rata. like for me, even tho my family lagi ramai org kene visit, only got half the time as well e.g. 2 out of 4 weeks.
kene bahagikan which people are wajib to visit and sunat muakkad and mubah aje. i.e. prioritise
it's nearly impossible utk tak kecikkan hati sape2..but just have to do your best

2. yes once you've decided sape nak gi visit, beli the appropriate hadiah. and buy some extra small ones on the side for any impromptu ones esp for kids.

3. NO! tak beli tiket lagi..yikes. still planning nih
u dah beli tiket?
