In 4 weeks we'll start our new rotation: Emergency in Warragul. Warragul is a rural town about 1.5 hours drive away.
Problems:
1. Layth's kinder- don't want him to stop going otherwise it will be difficult to start again
2. Travelling- to commute every day or stay over there during bouts of work (e.g. 3 days)
3. Accommodation- sharing a house with other interns, plus where is Hidayah going to stay over there if we decide to all move there temporarily?
4. Schedule- both hubby & I are working there so our shifts will obviously be different, back to problem number 2 and 3.
No one wants to swap. One person said she might swap then changed her mind. Well, someone wants to swap but only for 5 weeks.
Hope the roster won't be too difficult to organise around.
Now I know why most women go into general practice, lifelong residency or quit medicine altogether. Such an unstable life!

have to ask yourself in the longer term - is this sustainable?
i don't think it's becoming sustainable. i might have to follow some of my predecessors. work part time until anak(s) dah besar and dah complete your family. then sambung la belajar ke wuteva
