The first day we went to F (took about 1 hour 40 minutes drive from home) a bit earlier to orientate ourselves. Man, the roads there are mind-boggling. Lots of crossing busy highways, service roads, funny looking intersections and tons and tons of annoying roundabouts!
We only saw two houses on the first day. Then we slept over at Fida's house in D because it was only 30 minutes away from F instead of going back home and then coming back again the next day!
After that we went to F again to inspect 3 more houses. It was a hot afternoon so I had a bad headache when we got back to Fida's house.
Today in the morning we finished filling in application forms for the houses we were interested in. Then we went to D Plaza to
We tried some Mexican food at the food court. Tak pernah makan la katakan. Hubby bought a burrito and I bought nachos (photo). So macam doritos chips (without flavouring) tu covered in melted cheese, salsa, meat sauce and sour cream. Sedap giler!! Even the bowl was made of nachos. Burrito was just the same filling but not using nachos, but like a pita bread kinda thing. Meat + salsa + cheese + sour cream is probably the basic unit of all Mexican dishes :p
Then we went to F again to look at 3 more houses and send in our application forms. So far we've seen 8 houses but only 3 tickle our fancy. Hopefully we will get a response soon. It's very tiring!

House number 1: Close to hospital but complicated road layout! Nice interior and layout but the garden is too big for us to maintain. *applied*
House number 2: Cute, quaint but claustrophobic with low ceilings. Seemed quite hot inside the house. Extremely complicated road layout!!!! We got lost just looking for it.
House number 3: Smelt funny, garden was too big and there was no gate covering the side of the house - not very safe. Reject!!
House number 4: Driveway opens right onto a roundabout. We took 3 tries just to get in. Hahaha. But the house is extremely nice, interior is all new (less maintenance) and easy peasy to get to the hospital by car. Near lots of amenities. *applied*
House number 5: 4 bedroom house, beautiful, same price as our current 2 bedroom house! Problem: it has a swimming pool in the backyard. Adoi sape la nak maintain!! This house was popular. When we went for the inspection, there were 35 other people with us!!
House number 6: Townhouse, nice and new, location a bit complicated as well but easy access to hospital via highway. Master bedroom on ground floor though. Will probably mean that I'll never get up the stairs. Haha. *applied*
House number 7: Beautiful interior, love the layout so much!!!!! Problem: it smelt of cigarette smoke and the next door neighbour has a dog. Plus they're youngish and we share the same front yard. Hubby was imagining drunkards lying around our front porch or worse, tersilap masuk rumah!
House number 8: Cheap house, nice garden and a lemon tree, opposite a playground!!!! But the interior looked a bit worn out.
Lots of dillemmaaaaaaa
