I went to Mrs B's bed so that I could interview her. When I got there she looked very uncomfortable and distressed. She asked for "beypap". Since she had cardiac failure and was breathless I translated this into BiPAP (oxygen). I asked her, "Have you called for the nurse?". Mrs B said "ages ago!".
I ran to look for the nurse and found one and told the nurse that Mrs B wanted BiPAP. The nurse said "We don't have BiPAP in this ward". Hah? Anyhoo the nurse went to see Mrs B and again Mrs B said "beypap". After some time the nurse figured out that Mrs B wanted a BEDPAN.
Lerr..she wanted to do a poo! Poor thing. Basic human necessity and the nurses are taking their time to answer the calls!
